What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
As I have never had a tutoring experience before, it is hard for me to answer this question. However, what I would probably enjoy the most would have been when my students start to believe in themselves and see their full potential with my help.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have a caring nature and high emotional intelligence. I feel these two qualities will help me get along easily with my future students. I believe tutoring is more than teaching maths or science. A great tutor should be able to support their student emotionally when needed. If my students need emotional support, I will be ready to hear them out and offer them my perspective.
I also want to offer non-judgmental communication to my students as I don't want my students to hesitate to ask questions. Asking questions is a very important part of learning. It is an indication of students engagement
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is helping them become motivated lifelong learners. I would like my students to acquire new skills and initiate their education to support their personal development.

Zein became a lot more confident as we went through the questions. She has no problem dividing two-digit numbers. She understood and practised how to find the lowest and highest common factors.
She is hesitant with her answers most of the time so she needs to build more confidence which I believe will happen over time as we do more sessions. She needs more practice dividing three and more digit numbers. Also I have realised that if she feels stressed about a questions she tends to do careless mistakes and miss the whole question.
