What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy creating specialised programs that are specific to the individual needs and interests. I enjoy having thoughtful discussions with students about the way they think, and explore how they can think in different ways to solve a problem. I especially enjoy the 'I get it' moments when a student has a breakthrough.

I believe my strengths are my compassion, understanding and nurturing for a student. I truly care for my students and want them to achieve their best in terms of their learning outcomes, and in their perspective towards learning and goal setting. I am a committed and professional teacher, who strives towards achieving the best outcomes. This can and often does vary between students.

Planning for student success is integral. This means understanding the students needs, current situations, their goals and planning for the best outcome to achieve those goals. Importantly, a tutor can offer their perspectives on the best way to understanding a concept and solving a problem. A tutor should also offer alternative ways that may suit the student. A tutor should always demonstrate their problem solving abilities and allow individual exploration of thought. They are integral in providing the foundations for success in achieving true and meaningful understanding.
