As a student teacher, the fun part of teaching is interacting with students and seeing them improve. Tutoring allows for a more individual method of ensuring academic success, with a larger focus on personal growth.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

As a final year student teacher, tutoring provides me with the opportunity to assist students in achieving the individual success that I strive to provide through my classroom teaching. I passionately support student well-being in order to benefit their academic success, as I believe the two to be interconnected. Along with this, a focus on the tenets of patience, dedication and openness are key strengths that I think make a great tutor, and I constantly strive to maintain them to the best of my ability.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Motivation and confidence are two key elements of student success, if I can support them in achieving a sense of self-efficacy regarding these elements, they are bound to see improvement. Students often know where they fall short in their work, they just need motivation to improve those areas. Once they know that they can achieve this themselves, confidence comes naturally.
