What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
Although I don't have proper experiences in tutoring, I enjoy the process of making change in the classmates I teach. It is sometimes challenging to understand the thinking but rewarding at the same time to see the lightbulb above their head.
With proper tutoring, I would also enjoy becoming more independent, for instance, being able communicate as a tutor, and to decide the direction of student's learning.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I have flexible thinking in solving math problems, and able to approach questions from different perspectives. This would help me to understand the way students approach problems and what they struggle with, which helps me to guide them to the right direction.
I also have the patience to listen to my students. As every students different backgrouds, each of them will have different areas and weakness and strength, and it may take sometimes for them to understand certain concepts. And I will be passionate about using a variety of methods for students to say "I get it now!"
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
I believe that learning is most effective when students are enjoying the process, which is why tutors should make the sessions enjoyable at times. Whether or not the student likes to learn certain subject, the tutors can incorporate connections to the student's interests, to make the learning much more interesting for them.
