What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
The interaction between a tutor and student can be one of the most rewarding relationships. As a tutor you act as a guide for students who are going through the exact experiences as yourself, providing them with the wisdom and in-depth knowledge that you have gained in order to give them the best opportunity to excel in their own academic endeavours. As a tutor actively participates in a student's progression, seeing the student being rewarded for their efforts is just as, if not more, rewarding to the tutor for their efforts.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths as a tutor include empathy, patience and supportive.
I am able to compromise between the needs and wants of the student and the objectives of the tutor. It is often seen that tutors only teach what is required of them, however it is far more valuable to a student to make sure they understand. As each student varies, they will require a personal approach to teaching. This means that the time it takes for a student to understand will vary. Some students will not be as fast or smart as others, so emphasis should be placed on their improvement and not their current abilities.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
A student seeks a tutor in the hopes of improving their academia and however big or small these improvements are, a tutor most ensure that the student learns. The tutor is providing a paid service and the student has the expectations that they will improve. So it is within the tutor's responsibility to achieve these expectations as reasonably as possible.
