What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Helping others improve and learn math in new and interesting ways has always been very enjoyable. I am an avid for math in the first place, and sharing the creativity and beauty of it is always very exciting.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that everyone learns in different ways. Everyone is unique and must be given correct methods to tackle the subject. I am very keen on following the syllabus and making sure that no stone is left unturned so that nothing surprises the students. Additionally, I help the students to look at their mistakes and retrace their thinking process, then I teach them to talk to themselves. The student must understand that they are given a toolbox, and they need to develop the habit of figuring out how to retrace their mistakes and use the correct tools for the correct job.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Firstly, the tutor must be a safe place. They need to let the student know that it is okay to make mistakes as long you learn and improve, no matter how little. Secondly, the tutor has to connect the student to math, through finding out about the student and picking the most fitting route. Lastly, the tutor must be extremely familiar with the content. It is deeply unfair if the student does not get the proper education, thus the tutor must go above and beyond to not leave the student disadvantaged in any way.
