What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The aspect I enjoy the most about tutoring is the opportunity to raise a student’s confidence, and consequently, increase their motivation for learning. As someone who places great value on education, I love to spread my passion of learning with others. I believe having sound understanding of schoolwork is vital for kids, as it greatly boosts one’s enjoyment and morale in school - allowing them to receive a more meaningful education. This confidence boost can have positive effects on students for all their future learning, and I would love to play a role in helping them achieve this.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I see myself as a perceptive person, thus I can recognise differences in each student and alter my teaching methods accordingly. Thus, I think one of my strengths as a tutor is being able to pinpoint my students’ strengths, weaknesses and learning style, and tutor in a method that best fit’s their needs. Furthermore, I see myself as a creative and enthusiastic person which I believe helps to ensure student’s are kept engaged throughout the lesson and promotes motivation. Lastly as someone who appreciates learning topics in depth, I model this for my students by giving thorough explanations.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe the most important thing a tutor can do for their student is to show them they are capable of learning anything. All students have areas they are less confident in, and as a tutor, I strive to fill these gaps in knowledge by working slowly and providing constant encouragement. As a student begins to clear confusions, this allows them to realise their own potential and dismantle the boundaries in their path. This will build their passion for learning and set them up for success in the future.
