What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I have been working with older kids for the majority of my tutoring career, and as hard as they are to teach as rewarding it is to watch them grow. Seeing my kids become more confident and proud of their results make me feel like I’ve truly succeeded as their tutor and mentor. It brings me so much joy to see my once shy and timid students who were afraid of answering questions, progress to the very students who call me out for the silly mistakes I make.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I’m generally a very patient and enthusiastic person, I treat each child with the same level of expectations and never make them feel like they aren’t enough for me, because they only need to be enough for themselves.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe is to understand what works for a student. To know if this child is a visual learner or a note taker or an example question person. To truly understand the most efficient way to teach a student is the best gift you can give a student. Help them also learn their study method that works and helps them through their school career.
