What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I don't have any prior experience tutoring. However, the idea of progression, both in yourself as a leader and within your student seemed incredibly fulfilling. During year 12 my math teacher was an incredibly inspiring and friendly figure, I doubt I would have done as well as I did without her. I want to have the same effect on others.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
During school and even now at university, once I've understood a concept, I've always been able to find analogies to it when helping peers. The ability to unravel a complex concept using simple relationships goes the furthest when teaching I believe.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
This is probably a clique, but a tutor or teacher should always be willing and able to adapt to the students needs. If a student is not grasping a topic, it is within the responsibilities of a teacher to be patient and try alternative methods. Overall, understanding how a student learns and gauge as to when they are progressing.
