What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to help to help a child understand something they have continuously been confused with. Being able to aid on a one by one basis allows for the information to be curated to a specific students needs which is really what teaching should aim to achieve. We all learn things differently after all.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am a very calm and dedicated person so I believe those two aspects work well with tutoring. I am able to explain things in different ways which aids in understanding and I believe people tend to feel comfortable around me. In regards to mathematics and English, I did a wide range of maths courses during my undergraduate degree (calculus, statistics, differential equations etc) and I completed the IELTS as well as English language at A level under the Cambridge teaching program and so I believe I am well versed in the two subjects.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a teacher can do is simply help a student. There is nothing worse than not understanding what is being taught. Simply taking the time to explain something and watch a student have that eureka moment is the most important thing.
