What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I enjoy being able to make a youth feel empowered and to believe in themself. They are at ages that can be detrimental to their self esteem if they are taught to believe that they are not smart, which can trickle down into all sorts of issues. I want to empower them to realize that they can do hard things and that they are smarter than they realize - people need to learn things differently and that doesn't make you any more or less wise.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Being able to breakdown a complex subject from the very beginning and to be able to paint a picture as to why we are learning this and where this will come into play. I believe so many students are often confused because they cannot see where this fits into their studies/life. Painting the picture from beginning, middle, to end I believe is an essential piece that is often missing. Then being able to break down the topic into a digestible concept that is simpler to grasp.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to provide them with that self esteem previously mentioned. I believe if you can empower a student, the sky is the limit.
