What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

The most enjoyable thing about tutoring for me is the fact that I get to help someone else out and get to support them. When I see that I have helped someone and have had a positive impact in their lives, it feels like I am not only progressing solo but also helping my tutee climb the ladder to be better at something they are interested in.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am able to break down the concepts in the most simplest forms, that pushes my ability to communicate with my tutee and help them to understand the concept. I break down a concept into simpler sub concepts and give logical reasonings behind them, while allowing my tutee to visually comprehend the concept. It’s not just about the mathematical approach but also about the real world approach, which gives the concept a reason as to why it should be learned. Students often ask “what will we even do with this XYZ concept?†I start off with this application and that’s what has let me to get the ears

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

The most important thing is simplify the concept and explain it with patience. If the tutor needs to explain the simplest concept a 100 times and simplify it further every time, they should do it. Knowledge is important yes, but if it cannot be communicated with patience and this iterative approach of simplification unless it’s understood, that’s when knowledge is best used.
