Our goal is to help your child become an independent learner. Ultimately they must succeed on their own, without a maths tutor. Otherwise, what's the point? Each student has their own path to intellectual independence but a tutor can certainly help in every case. Exam technique, revision, problem solving, study habits and many more "learning strategies" come into play. It can be a difficult road for our young people and mentorship from someone who has been there and done that can be the difference between success and failure.
So what do we do exactly?
We'll organise an in-home maths tutor Zeerust. They'll come over as often as you need and when you need. They will teach your child content while helping them absorb the learning skills required to succeed on their own. It's super important that your child feels the tutor is a good match for them. This is why we offer a "Good Fit Guarantee" - the first lesson is a trial. There are no cancellation costs or booking fees or any other "hidden costs". We keep it simple!
Talk to one of our consultants, help us understand what you need, when you need it, and we'll do the rest!

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Gabriel has used these strategies to great effect. You are able to witness it with the work that he completes. When he completes questions, he reads aloud to himself to make sure all sufficient steps are covered and he can backtrack on any errors. He sometimes can fall into lazy thinking at times but usually its just a rare lapse in concentration. Otherwise, everything is very well maintained.
Taylah has been positive about identifying her gaps in her knowledge especially in relation to her recent mathematics test. Taylah put in a lot of effort to do well in her maths test and did not get frustrated at herself even in an extended two hour lesson. Taylah needs to put in more time reviewing her own essays and comparing the language she uses to other written text such as novels, magazines and blog posts.
Isabel continues to build skills on being able to integrate maths knowledge from different units to a new topic. Isabel continues to work on integrating maths knowledge from a range of different areas into a new topic area. She also continues to work on the more complex problem solving questions.

Thank you for your follow up. Ty is progressing well and we are all happy with the way things are going (mum, dad and Ty). Apart from the normal issues, that sometimes he just 'doesn't feel like it' at the beginning of the session, he enjoys the tutoring and is gaining benefits already. Though Ty has always had quite a good understanding of Maths, the idea of tutoring was to keep him at his best. He was complaining of not understanding his teacher this year, so the different ways of thinking and and ways of teaching are definitely helping. I am happy with Sheetal and his dedication to his tutoring, even ringing Ty to check his progress before an assessment. This is not something that I was expecting, but is a welcome addition as I see it helping Ty keep focused as well.
Thanks for the email. We are very happy with Lisa. She is bright and keen and has established a very easy rapport with Xiao. Xiao actually really likes her. We feel very confident that Xiao will continue to make progress with her maths.
Thanks for the email. I am very happy with Charlie he seems to be doing a good job and Ellah has said that he is doing a good job and is really teaching her the concepts.
