Learning Chemistry feels like learning a new language. It's hard in the beginning, you don't know what to look out for and even though you recognise things here and there that doesn't mean you can read a formula, let alone understand it. The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Archer is making good progress with his work. He generally tries his best during lessons. For some subjects Archer is very confident in and in others I can tell he is still relying on me to push him in the right direction. Normally, he can solve most questions by himself as long as one is done first as an example.
She has very enthusiastic attitude in class and is always willing to learn. She completes her homework and set tasks in the due time. She puts a lot of effort into learning maths, which is shown through her work.
The only real problems I've seen is that sometimes she questions herself when it's not required. I don't really see it as a problem because the areas in which she does this have odd parameters in terms of the question.
At this point, we are happy with the way things are progressing. Ryan seems a bright and capable young man and Kirsten does feel the sessions are assisting her.
