Improve their self esteem by helping them do better at school. I think the student being tutored is the most important person, so you want to help them and improve their skills as much as possible. Strengths are listening, honesty, cheerfulness, calmness, communication
Weaknesses: I'm probably a bit on the softer side, a bit too…

What I mean by this is, students are generally unsure about what interests them the most and take subjects they study at school very lightly. By making them question their knowledge, we evoke a curiosity within them.…

The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to bridge the gap between the student's knowledge on a subject and the knowledge that has been provided to them by the teacher. Rather than helping students memorise information, tutors should help students improve their ability to understand. I believe I have the ability to explain concepts…

Being supportive and patient because it can be difficult for a tutor to see how hard the high school level maths can be for the student. Tutors need to remember how they did when they did the same maths years ago for their HSC/school and how difficult it was back then as opposed to how simple it seems now. As a maths tutor, I understand how…

First of all, it is the responsibilty of a tutor to fulfil his course requirements professionally and in such a way so as to not only develop an understanding of the concepts taught, but also inculcate critical thinking to analyse the taught concepts. Secondly, students are the future of any nation. Teaching good behavior and respect for others in…
