Zara initially struggled with identifying whether to use multiplication or division to solve the problems, especially since the questions were not always clear about the required method. However, with more practice, she started to improve in this area. To reinforce her understanding, we will continue practising these concepts in future lessons, ensuring she can confidently identify the appropriate method. I also assigned her homework to practice these skills, with clear instructions on which method to use for each type of problem.
