What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I have previously done teaching for under privileged kids with a social work organization for 2 years and I have also worked as a teaching assistant at a private academy for 9th-12th grade kids. I am currently a Lab demonstrator at the University of Melbourne. Through all these experiences, seeing the joy of understanding concepts on the student's face is something that I enjoy the most. I also believe that students start hating the subject when they don't understand it, so I enjoy making students fall in love with the subject.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I believe that I have effective communication skills which helps me connect with students and understand their doubts in a better manner. I also try to incorporate new approaches to help students understand concepts in a better manner.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Tutors should establish a friendly student-teacher bond which makes students comfortable and they feel safe to approach you for doubts. Failure to do so can make students feel intimidated and this can impact the teaching negatively. Tutors should also make sure that all the students in the class are following the things taught, because every student has a different pace so some tend to learn very quickly while some take longer. These are the most important aspects a tutor should look after.
