What do I enjoy most about tutoring?
Being able to assist my students and watch them grow in confidence and skill. Sharing the knowledge that i was so privileged to have obtained from my teachers with students of my own is a very rewarding experience. Eventually seeing them achieve their goals and beyond is a tutor's greatest pleasure.
My Strengths as Tutor
As a tutor, I believe my strengths include:-
- Communicating with my student on a motivational and eloquent level.
- Identifying a student's weaknesses and aiding them as much as I can.
- My ability to obtain the latest resources
- My extensive knowledge of the course and question structure and requirements often mistakenly overlooked by many teachers and tutors.
Most important things I can do for a student
The most important things a tutor can do for a student is to ensure that they are confident in their abilities and never waver in their confidence. Always ensure that the student is driven and motivated. This can be done by identifying the student's weaknesses and addressing them thoroughly; turning them into strengths.A tutor must also supply his/her student with techniques and strategies that will aid the student in their examinations.
