What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I love working with students of all levels (5-12) and getting to know where each student is at, what strategies work best for them, and how my teaching style works with that. I enjoy getting to know the students I work with - who they are, etc.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
I am very good at working with each individual student and figuring out where exactly they are at in their learning. I have various approaches to teaching that I use to fit and maximize the learning of the student, as my goal with tutoring is always to find what works best for each student.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
As a tutor, I consider it to be very important to first connect and have a good relationship with the student I am working with, as a good, positive relationship will only benefit the work we will get to with maths. I also consider my work as a tutor to be important in understanding how each student works and understanding the course material. This will not only dictate our pacing through each section of material, but it will also allow me to decide how to best approach teaching/mentoring each student through the course material. I also think that having fun is an important aspect with maths
