What do I enjoy most about tutoring?
I like seeing the student grow and come to appreciate what they're learning. Personally, I really enjoy learning, and it brings me great joy to share that with others. I've taught a lot of students who were really struggling, and not just looking for a few extra marks on their final result, and these students also tend to have a more negative view regarding study. I enjoy the attempt to change their minds about study and their own abilities, because I genuinely believe that hard work and putting in extra time is the key to success, rather than innate talent.
My Strengths as Tutor
I'm always looking for feedback from the student. Everyone learns and responds a little differently, and it's important to me to look for the best way to tutor a student. I can always bring enthusiasm to the lesson because I honestly do enjoy sharing the knowledge I've gained throughout my studies as well as share study skills for tests and the HSC.
Most important things I can do for a student
Bring enthusiasm to the lesson, ask them for feedback so that I can alter the way I teach to better benefit the student.
