What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

Seeing my students learn and thrive while reaching their objective. The "aha" moment is one of the most rewarding feelings I experience as a tutor and I certainly enjoy it a lot.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

Being empathetic and building rapport is a must, and I'm particularly gifted in doing so. I'm particularly good at assessing students' weaknesses and strengths. Once recognised, I work on the weaknesses by finding learning strategies that suit their learning style. I would show them how they learn best (activation of meta-cognitive skills) and to use self-regulation learning strategies, so they rely on me as a tutor but also learn to know themselves as learners and become independent and self-confident.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

Making the student's goals their own. The most important thing is to recognise the student's immediate needs and goals and to make them my own; being committed to their goals as if they were my own has always yielded great results with my students.
