What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁
I enjoy seeing individuals faces light up when they can finally understand something that they have being struggling with for a while.
It is so gratifying to watch the progress of said individuals as they become more confident with their writing, speaking or reading abilities. As well as mathematical skills.
My Strengths as Tutor 💪
My strengths are that I would always find different ways for the child to understand the certain area in which they are struggling in. For example, if they are unable to grasp the concept one way, I will help them understand a different way.
I find myself being highly friendly too, which will allow the child to feel comfortable around me, creating a non-judgmental environment.
Most important things I can do for a student 🏅
The most important thing a tutor can do for a student is to allow them to build up their own confidence in the subject that they are struggling in, as well as allowing them not to see the subject as a chore or something to avoid, but as an enjoyable and fun task that would be highly useful for the future!

- Laith did well in finding the volumes of shapes of 1s to 100s, using multiplication. - He managed to do well in completing a table of finding the volume from 10s to 100s. - He used his multiplication and division skills to find the solutions to the unknown edges. - Also, due to the multiple steps in order to find the correct answer to find the unknown edge measurements, he impressed me with his ability to quickly understand the format. He performed effectively with his solutions to the given equations.
- Laith needs to be reminded to add 3 extra 0s from his simplified answer onto his long answer of the equation when finding the volume from 10s to 100s. - He needed assistance when finding the unknown edges, however after practicing and solving some of the equations, he slowly got the hang of it. - Due to the complicated and numerous steps in finding the solution to unknown edge equations, I had to write the format out for him, so it could be easier for him to understand. Because of this, he should practice writing the format himself. This ensures he answers the questions correctly in any given test where the format isn't given/written down.

- Laith is progressing really well. He is beginning to become confident with his understanding of both long divisions, as well as multiplying and dividing decimals by 100 and 100.
- It is always good to continue practicing, so this would be the recommendation I would give to Laith.

- Laith is slowly progressing in his understanding of multiplying and dividing decimals. - He was able to follow the correct steps in order to solve long-division equations.
- Laith needs more practice in both areas, especially long division as it is a very complicated guide to solving an answer. We will be working on this to improve.
- Laith did very well at understanding the concept. He still needs practice, but this will be done during our next session.
- Laith did very well at understanding the concept. He still needs practice, but this will be done during our next session.
- Laith still needs to work on his dividing and multiplying of decimals as I'm not too confident that he himself is confident in finding the solution.
