What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

As a current medical student, I thoroughly enjoy helping others learn. Seeing the students grow in knowledge, as well as continue to learn new things every day, really inspires me to be a better educator. I love the act of teaching - especially the idea of converting topics that are difficult to understand, into more simplified concepts for students to absorb.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I feel I am very empathetic and compassionate as a tutor. As a student myself, I am able to put myself in their position, to understand what might seem slightly harder to break down and vice versa. This would certainly enable me to connect to my tutees better, especially since I am able to look at things from their perspective.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

I believe helping a student grow in confidence would be of utmost priority. While it is important that students improve their grades and learn what needs to be learnt, helping them believe in themselves and their own ability to learn should take precedence. This way, students will be more encouraged to take their first step towards independent learning, and will not be put off by the hurdles that they may come across.
