Often the student's confidence increases and their grades increase across all subjects. They learn that directed effort results in improvement and that is a form of empowerment! This is what we're all about, our mission is to facilitate life-changing student-tutor matches. There is just nothing better than having a sense of self confidence and faith in your own competence.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
During the past few weeks, I've introduced to Ushy a variety of essential learning strategies that she can implement when solving problems in maths such as talking aloud, back checking and pen to paper. She is starting to familiarise herself with these strategies.
Had a good attitude, but like any 12 year old she has a few days where she's too tired and can get distracted but will try her hardest to learn anyway. She's a very good student and has improved immensely. Lost of effort - completes all the questions given to her as homework or a quiz Good work habits
When we start up tutoring again next year, we will be practicing his long multiplication, factorising and any more past gaps that arise. These are fundamental skills which are assumed knowledge and he should aim to be competent in them. Brodie's biggest problem was cosine and sine functions, which we focused on in the weeks before his exam. He has improved considerably and we will revise them at the beginning of next year to ensure he withholds that knowledge.

I would like to inform you that Paul did his last session with Vik on Sunday 11.Nov 2012. I have to mention that he did a fantastic job of teaching Vik the two subjects maths & physics, and also helping him understand how VCE works. Thank You for keeping me well informed about my son's progress. I would have no hesitation to recommend you & Paul to any of my friends or anyone who needs help from a tutor. Wishing you all the best in the future.
We are very pleased with the program to date. Stephen is a very nice young man and a good tutor. David our son enjoys his teaching style and tutoring.
I was very happy with James' tutoring. Warren was a great tutor for James and as I mentioned on the phone,I wish we had found him sooner. In the short time that James did have his tutoring, I did notice he has become more confident and independent with his maths. Although he is still not a straight A student, he did show some improvement.
