Every student needs help sometimes, and often that help is needed in English. From basics like punctuation, spelling and grammar right up to narrative writing, proof reading and literary analysis. The Australian curriculum is thorough and there are various challenges that pop up for students over the years. At some point most students could use some help and an English tutor does just that - help! Ideally that help comes before the student has formed a negative cycle or fallen into a no-effort habit.
What we do is facilitate that help as a home service, we'll organise an in-home English tutor in Hollywell, or wherever it is convenient for you.
A local Hollywell English tutor will come to you at a time and day of your chosing and offer tutoring help in a manner tailored for your child's unique situation. The first lesson works as a trial so that if your child doesn't connect well with the tutor, you don't have to pay and we can organise someone else for you.
The terms of service are super simple too. No contracts or minimum hours or cancellation fees or anything like that. You get charged a simple hourly rate. That's it.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Continuing to go well with talking aloud about the problems needing to be solved as well as showing the appropriate working out - changing it neatly and making notes of any errors made in previous questions attempted. He also asks a lot of questions during the lessons which is great to see, showing he is engaged in what he is doing and seeking to better understand the topics.
Sophia was a bit distracted and losing focus in class for the last couple of weeks, but she is slowly improving and at least trying to attempt every question Sophia is eager in finishing her homework sheets in class most of the time. Although I understand it is easy to get distracted, but I encourage Sophia to explore more options while searching for solutions, and ask more questions in class to clear up any confusions. Sophia has been working consistently to complete her assigned homework
Anuk has to work upon focusing on his work more. He makes many silly mistakes. His concepts and understanding is getting much better though. He needs to work upon his concentration level. He gets distracted easily so I need him to focus on the work more. He is still dependant on his calculator. He needs to start thinking mentally about the easier questions.

Just wanted to let you know that Mark seems like a good match for Nik. He really likes him and had a really successful first session. Thanks for your support and assistance in finding him!
Bre says she is happy with Ameya. He explains things well and ensures she understands things before moving on. Only week 3 but all good so far.
Hayden is starting to feel more confident with his maths, so we think 10 weeks more tutoring should cover all bases for now, and a few weeks towards the end of the school before the final exams should do wonders for his results. Thankyou.....
