Every student needs help sometimes, and often that help is needed in English. From basics like punctuation, spelling and grammar right up to narrative writing, proof reading and literary analysis. The Australian curriculum is thorough and there are various challenges that pop up for students over the years. At some point most students could use some help and an English tutor does just that - help! Ideally that help comes before the student has formed a negative cycle or fallen into a no-effort habit.
What we do is facilitate that help as a home service, we'll organise an in-home English tutor in Riverhills, or wherever it is convenient for you.
A local Riverhills English tutor will come to you at a time and day of your chosing and offer tutoring help in a manner tailored for your child's unique situation. The first lesson works as a trial so that if your child doesn't connect well with the tutor, you don't have to pay and we can organise someone else for you.
The terms of service are super simple too. No contracts or minimum hours or cancellation fees or anything like that. You get charged a simple hourly rate. That's it.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Lately we have been using the transfer of skills to work out harder questions by answering an easier question first and then using the same method to work out the more difficult question, with prompting Keane is able to do this on his own.
Always has great attitude towards learning and puts in effort each week. Keeps all content for each week neat and easy to locate. Well organised. Work habits are good and consistent in keeping up to date with both school work and tutor work.
I have noticed that Let struggles with the concept of converting units of measurement, she seems to have learnt the rules behind it, but struggles to understand the actual concept of what she is doing. Sometimes Lexi will get the hang of a concept and then will rush through the questions, and make errors because she doesn't take enough time, because of this, we have focussed on going back and repeating the steps, so that she can realise these errors and fix them up.

Hello, I am sorry I have been so uncommunicative. Dev was lovely and I was sorry to see her go. She helped Thea very much with her maths and did herself out of a job. Thea and her teacher told me that she had caught up and was actually finishing before everyone else. I hope however, I can get Dev back if Thea's maths falls back again. She was really fantastic and can highly recommend her.
Daniel is absolutely thrilled with Sheetal. I am also impressed with Sheetal's approach and commitment. His tutoring dwells into understanding the concepts behind mathematical formulas, not just simple application, which is exactly what I had been hoping for. I am also pleased that Sheetal is open to extra lesson should Daniel need them. So in response to your question - very, very happy. I've been recommending you guys to my friends !!!
I applied to work at Ezy Math Tutoring because I was looking for a job that could give me teaching experience. Not only do Ezy Math provide this through the tutoring but they also give ongoing tutor learning modules to keep you thinking about different aspects of your tutoring and to help you keep improving as a tutor. They are dedicated to ensuring that their tutors are constantly improving and this is fantastic for both the tutor and the client! I appreciate the skills I have learned as my time as a tutor and am thankful for their support that they give me.
