What do I enjoy most about tutoring? 😁

I think being a teacher/ tutor is a highly rewarding experience as we get to see students grow and realize their goals and ambitions. It is nothing more gratifying than seeing students arrive at their aha! moment and finally reach an understanding of a topic/ subtopic which they find impossible to grasp earlier. In short, I enjoy watching students achieve their academic excellence.

My Strengths as Tutor 💪

I am passionate about Mathematics and Science and have strong desire to impart these knowledge to as many students as possible. The most important value for mathematics teacher is patience. Often, we do not teach once, as reteaching is often necessary. Mathematics is highly abstract and often need clear and concise explanation to reduce confusion that leads to students losing heart. My strongest strength is patience, mathematics teaching skills and a great motivator.

Most important things I can do for a student 🏅

There are many students who struggle in Mathematics. A tutor helps students get into perspective. No matter how difficult a question is, it can be solve with the right strategy based on the right understanding of underlying concepts. Tutor helps build and boost confidence in students. Students simply do not get the attention they need from a school teacher in a crowded classroom, therefore personalized assistance is often necessary. A tutor listens and identify area of weakness and helps students to achieve the required comprehension and problem solving skills.
