No one has doubts about the importance of English in the Australian school curriculum. Not only is it a mandatory subject to complete year 12, but it's a useful life skill. Verbal and written language skills are crucial in the information age. Comprehending texts, textual analysis, structuring written reports, refining creative processes and applying a structure to them, articulating thoughts concisely ... these skills are going to be useful in just about any career path. Of course, it all starts in the school...

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Jasmine's approach to correcting mistakes in her homework is improving. Her ability with regards to other learning strategies (talking aloud, self-questioning, backchecking, etc) has been consistently fine.
Works well enough during sessions. Going to have to bring it up a level if larger improvements are to be seen. Wants do do well. Puts in a decent effort in the sessions and worked very hard for the last test. Work at home will need to go up a little if larger improvements are to be seen. Good. Always attempts or completes assigned work. Nothing major. Time at home needs to be made if you are to reach higher levels.
Maiee's attitude during the lesson is mostly positive and she applies herself fairly well. However, after the lesson has finished she does seem to lose motivation and not accomplish much. I will be continuing to monitor her out of lesson work and try to improve her motivation further.
The team at ezymath have been exceptionally professional and courteous with their service. I contacted them via the website as my daughter was struggling to pass math, and received a follow up phone call almost immediately. Within a week, Kurt was helping my daughter with her math and this has been very effective in increasing her confidence levels and ability. It has helped her to improve her math scores during tests and exams. I also found Kurt to be very respectful and professional during tutoring times, and the monthly feedback and information for parents was very helpful. I would recommend this service to other parents and children who are looking to improve their math ability.
My son was struggling with maths at school and felt that he was falling behind his peers. He asked if he could have a maths tutor. My neighbors recommended EzyMath so we decided to give them a try. The tutor we got was reliable and approachable. He had a quiet and patient mannor and always encouraged my son to work things out for himself. My son never complained about having his maths tuition, which surprised me! After a couple of months of maths tuition from EzyMath I had a phone call from my son's maths teacher at school to say that he had done so well in his year 10 exams that he suggested my son choose Maths methods as one of his subjects for year 11. This would definitely not have happened without the tuition he received from EzyMath. Thanks for all your help. It was a very positive experience.
We are very happy with Joshua. He is young and energetic and seems to catch my kid's attention. His English is excellent and he has a very pleasing polite manner.
