Most students approach learning biology like any other subject. They know the basics, what to do and what to avoid, and truth be told, in most cases it's enough to pass the tests. Science subjects, and especially biology, can be tricky though. More often than not, students will need a push - just a little bit of guidance to get the most out of their learning.
We work with many Gymea biology tutors and most have a story or two about student hiccups. Sometimes it's silly mistakes and other times just a lack of consistency - simple details that could have saved them time and energy. Never skip your lab notes! tutors find themselves reminding students over and over. Yet most tend to forget them.
Tutors we work with are there to help out with homework, revising, getting ahead or solving advanced problems - whatever your child needs. And they are available within a day or two. All we need to get things started is to have a chat with you.
We figure out what kind of support your child needs and organise one-on-one biology tutoring in Gymea. On top of that, we keep things simple and convenient. There are no extra fees or hidden charges, just a simple hourly rate.
Last but not least, to make sure you and your child really like the tutor - the first lesson comes as a free trial and with a money-back guarantee.

The proof is always in the action, to get an idea of how tutoring works in practice check out some feedback from tutors. Typically tutors focus on strategies needed to make progress, what's going well and what needs improvement. Of course, every tutor has their own unique style that is tailored to your child's specific needs.
Anna has become more confident in approaching her math work. She has really begun to focus on identifying and correcting her own errors with reduced guidance and continues to maintain excellent note taking strategies and command of the sessions.
Hafsa has been having good attitude in learning, such as being willing to learn new knowledge, understanding it is okay to be wrong. I think Hafsa need to be more patient to practice basic problems even they are already too easy for her. But practicing basic problems enable her to refresh previous concepts and strategies, which she will probably forget sometimes. Good work habits. Only thing need to be improved is her organizing skill, as sometime she lost her notes.
Some areas that we will need to revise in more detail than others include redox reaction questions and those involving the calculations of pH. At the moment our main focus is on working through the very large variety of questions that are asked under each chemistry topic. Adapting the key knowledge to different question types is something we will continue to work on.

I'm happy to let you know that Domonic has been a great tutor. Nadine is very happy and feels comfortable learning with him.
Even as a trained classroom teacher, I found Ezymath's tutoring resources particularly helpful in dealing with struggling students. I would recommend the basic program to any student or parent as it is designed to help tutors systematically address common learning problems, and provide structure for the student. In addition to dealing with content knowledge, the Ezymath program encourages students to develop positive study habits, effectively engage with their regular teachers, and build confidence in academic learning that will continue to yield results long beyond their time with a tutor.
Things are going really well with Adam. Josephine is very comfortable with him and enjoys their lessons. He has been very helpful, friendly and supportive. We're really pleased its working out so well.
